$15/month includes one class per week.
This class does not introduce new material, but reinforces the material the student learned in Fencing 110, 111, and 112. This is a skill-building class to improve the student's technical fencing ability in preparation for further training. Topics for a given session will depend upon the needs of the group.
It cannot be emphasized enough that this class is NOT a replacement regular sparring! We anticipate that a student fresh out of Intro III will spend at least six months in Fencing 115.
Students need sweat pants or tights (no jeans or cargo pants), fencing jacket (cotton preferred), underarm protector, breastplate or cups (for females), mask, fencing glove, and athletic shoes.
To register, just send us a check for $15 or stop in. Or, you can pay online. Make sure you include your student's name and a contact phone number.
When the student believes he or she is ready, the student may challenge the class (PDF file of the study guide). To schedule a challenge examination, please ask Rusty or Mr. Heggen. A successful challenge is a pre-requisite for all other classes at the salle.
